The 9.61 saddle was developed by the sixteenfold world champion Jóhann Skúlason.
Top Reiter is very ambitious towards having a co-operation with the best riders of the Icelandic Horse at each time and use their experience to develop horse friendly quality products.
The name of the saddle is taken from the winning results of Jóhann Skúlason and the stallion Hnokki frá Fellskoti at the 2013 World Championships in Berlin.
The heart of the saddle is the saddle tree. The Soft-Swing tree with a flexible steel frame is developed with German technology and engineering and is extremely flexible. This trade is very important for the Icelandic Horse as it uses the extreme power and flexibility of the hindquarters to drive the front range of tolt and pace.
Every detail was developed with vigorous testing, whether it comes to the shape of the seat, the center of gravity or the exact positioning of the seat and the knee rolls. The panels give a very soft seat, close to the horse's back without disturbing the horse or giving it discomfort. The width and shape of the head of the saddle lets the horse move its shoulders and withers move freely.
